Greenpoint Handmade focuses on the selling and highlighting of artists, makers, and food that’s created locally in Greenpoint or in nearby neighborhoods in Brooklyn and LIC. In addition, there will be hands-on activities to bring kids, adults, and community together in creative ways.

Since Greenpoint Handmade is a new venue, we have created affordable rates to encourage those new to selling an opportunity to showcase their work and gain the necessary experience as a new vendor. It’s also a way to bring experienced vendors to a new location, to a building that’s booming with other creatives. We offer an assortment of space options:

6’w x 8’d full space allotment $60:

This gives you space for one 3x6 table with chair space or a clothing rack. You may set up the allotted space as you wish. There should be 2 ft between you and your neighbor for you to access the area behind your table.

6’w x 10’d full space allotment $75:

This gives you space for one 3x6 table with chair space and clothing rack, or a 3x8 size table. This space gives you the right dimensions to set up a smaller sized tent. You may set up the allotted space as you wish. There should be 2 ft between you and your neighbor for you to access the area behind your table.

Shared ½ space 6w x 8d space allotment $35 :

This space allows you to share a 3x6 table split in half, as well as chair space for you and your table mate. There should be 2 ft between you and your neighbor for you to access the area behind your table.

10x10 booth space $100 (sharing is allowed, $75 per person up to 2 people only):

This space gives you room for 2-3 3x6 tables, and a tent over your space.

Inside Food Vendors with Truck space (First 4 weeks free. After that, $200)

Greenpoint Handmade is located in the yard next to Clay Space at 275 Calyer St. Brooklyn, NY 11222. All vendors will have car access through Calyer St. Street parking outside of the lot is available, first come first served.

Set up for food vendors begins at 8am, all other vendors should not arrive until 8:30am. Your space should be fully set up no later than 10am when the market begins.

Please meet a staff member at the check in desk by the front gate to sign paperwork and receive your space assignment. We will have staff helping with table and chair rentals. Remember to bring a printed copy of your vendor licensing if applicable as well as a valid ID.

Take down begins no earlier than 5pm and you must exit the premises no later than 6:30pm.

Greenpoint Handmade has a digital payment system that will be emailed to you when you confirm your dates. From there you can choose your space size, sharing options, and table/chair rental.

Vendor spaces are allocated the day prior to the event, at the Greenpoint Handmade’s discretion. If you wish to share a space with another vendor, you must include this information when you register and pay for your space.

Depending on the severity of the forecast or weather, Greenpoint Handmade has the option to set up the market in a nearby indoor space to protect our vendors and visitors from the rain. We will make this determination before set up begins. As well as advertise the location to the public day of.

All food vendors must provide a copy of their Food Service license issued by NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to your business. This includes: Food Service Establishment Permit, Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit, Mobile Food Vending License.

There is no on-site parking, but plenty of street parking outside of the lot and all around the building. You can pull up to the entrance and offload, then park. We cannot, however, guarantee parking.
